Dr Demos Petropoulos founded and manages DPSS Global Consultants. He has set up DPSS in 2012, having formerly been Head of Shipping at SFS Group PCL. He has been instrumental in setting up and successfully managing a number of investments in the shipping sector over his eleven year career at the Group. His previous experience includes his service as senior officer at the Ministry of Communications and Works, Department of Merchant Shipping in Cyprus, and Operations Manager at Troodos Shipping. He holds a PhD in Shipping from Piraeus University and an MSc in Shipping from Cass Business School and he graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy - School of Captains in Nea Michaniona, Greece. He is also active in the field of Academia, holding a post of Assistant Professor at Frederick University Business School.

Dr Antonis Violaris is responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of all activities of DPSS Global Consultants . Antonis was employed at SFS Group, as senior sea transportation analyst where he has gained extensive experience in shipping investments and analysis of the international markets - Shipping, Oil and Energy, Foreign Exchange. Besides SFS Group, he holds a post of lecturer at Frederick University and has previously served as Lecturer at University of Durham and as senior consultant for an information technology solutions and services organisation, leading several financial management projects. During this time, he successfully established a broad network of relationships with businessmen and companies. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from The Philips College, holds a M.Sc. in Business Finance from Brunel University and holds a Ph.D. in Finance from University of Durham, UK.
